MASSIVE SKIN TRADING OPERATION SEIZED IN KUGANE!

A raging inferno was set ablaze to an illicit Skin Trading Den within The Red Light District of Kugane in the late twilight hours. Reports of Yakuza activity has been noted in this area for sometime but the vile acts of skin trading had gone suspiciously unnoticed by the Sekiseigumi. Witnesses claim a brawl broke out between two vicious Clans in a fight to rescue and retrieve a captured victim of the now eliminated Yumigumo Clan, a Geiko by the stage name “The Painted Doll” who had gone missing just days prior. Clan responsible for wiping the scum off Kugane Streets are suspected to be the Ashitaka Clan of the Shirogane Subdivision but no additional action against the clan has been reported to the Kugane Kronicle as of yet. Vigilance is highly recommended as the Ashitaka Clan are considered to be dangerous threat and presence to the Hingashi Region. Notorious crime boss now known as Memera of The Yumigumo Clan is still missing and possibly at large, more details to come as information is still being reported to us.

DISMEMEBERED BODY FOUND AT PIER ONE DOCK!

Sekiseigumi have discovered a dismembered body in a storage house near Pier One Dock. Whether or not this body is connected to the incident in the Red Light District is still being investigated as any evidence that was gathered at the scene was tainted by a mysterious black ink substance left behind by those responsible. Sekiseigumi has reported this to be a heinous and ruthless murder possibly done by a very evil individual. Any information on any possible suspects should be promptly reported to the Sekiseigumi by their request.

MISSING CHILDREN AND WOMAN RETURN HOME!

Posters of missing women and children are being torn down from message boards in Kugane and Shirogane. While the bulletins still have many missing people posters up relief has come to many families throughout Hingashi in hopes that their loved ones will soon return as well. Many citizens are hailing the Ashitaka Clan as vigilante heros for bringing down skin trading operations. “We couldn’t be any more thankful to whoever is responsible for helping our daughter find her way home, Yakuza criminals or not they are a blessing to us and should be ultimately rewarded,” One family spoke to us directly. Sekisekgumi are not seeing it this way and are sill seeking to question anyone involved in the incident in The Red Light District, possibly a way to pick up any slack in letting operations go on for as long as they did. Corruption allegations within the Sekisekgumi are also underway because of this.

Dismembered body finally identified as Skin Trading Crime Boss

Key witness confirms dismembered remains found at Pier One to be none other than crime boss Memera Yumigumo. Along with the evidence gathered at the scene of the murder Sekiseigumi are relieved to finally have the information needed to officially tie the identity of the body to the correct individual and will now have one less evil in Kugane to worry about. The Sekiseigumi are, however, still in search of the thing responsible for killing Memera Yumigumo as the manner of his death is now being seen as something of a supernatural force with no other feasible explanation that it could have possibly been accomplished by mortal hands. Citizens are urged to visit Kami shrines throughout Hingashi to gather blessings and talismans to ward off evil spirits in case this is to be confirmed true. More investigations regarding the ties to the events of the Rakuza incident to the murder of Memera Yumigumo are still underway, investigators getting to the bottom of who is truly responsible for the fiery mess and destruction in Kugane’s Red Light District.

Crime at an All Time High as Sekiseigumi force takes a huge Hit

Hingashi is facing negative repercussions after the discovery of corruption in the Sekiseigumi have come to light. Citizens are finding themselves losing trust in the very people who were entrusted to their safety and security while criminal activity continues to skyrocket throughout the Hingashi region. Many of their members have been charged and faced with dishonorable actions, ultimately leading to disciplinary action and even termination depending on the severity of their secretive involvement with Yakuza Gangs. The Sekiseigumi are struggling to find new members to cope with the rise in crime throughout the Hingashi. If you are interested in joining and helping the force against any impending threats please report to the Sekiseigumi barracks in Kugane for immediate training. “We need all the help we can get right now,” Head Captain Makoto spoke to us about the urgency of the matter directly.

Kugane Orphanage Receives Huge Anonymous Donation

Orphanage matron received stunning news earlier this week as a large anonymous donation was made to the struggling home for abandoned and lost children. With only a note left along with the large sum it was marked with the initials G.Y. which leaves much to the imagination of who this generous person might be. “We have had an influx of children come to us after the skin trading operations in Kugane were overthrown, sadly most of those that were taken by them were already on the streets before their abduction,” The matron was able to share a few words with us, “If it wasn’t for this donation I don’t know if I would have been able to feed them all for much longer, I really wish I could thank the individual or individuals responsible for this needed blessing, may the Kami protect them always.”
